Movies
• 7 February – RoboCop Not technically a created as a comic book character, RoboCop nevertheless feels like one of our own, partly because of the debt he owes to Judge Dredd, partly because of the Frank Miller association (he penned scripts for the second and third movie) and partly because he’s starred in so many comic books by so many different companies. The film is very different in tone and style from the original, but put prejudices and preconceptions aside, because it’s actually a pretty darned good movie in its own right
