Papadopoulos And Sons review

Anglo-Cypriot Harry Papadopoulos (Stephen Dillane) is a self-made millionaire.

But when his over-extended empire crashes, he’s forced to reconcile with older brother Spiros (Georges Corraface) and re-open their family’s fish-and-chip shop in a drab London suburb.

Soon the dour, buttoned-up Harry starts to rediscover the joy of simpler things.

Yes, it’s sentimental and predictable, but there’s a warmth and charm about Marcus Markou’s feature debut that makes it hard to resist.

And as the contrasted siblings, Dillane and Corraface play off each other in fine style.
