Downloads are going live for Metal Gear Online, the traditional multiplayer component of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain (opens in new tab) set to go live Tuesday (except on PC (opens in new tab)). Japanese gamers are already downloading the add-on files which weigh in at a relatively light 950mb, according to an image posted by Metal Gear Online League.

Take note of the fact that MGO is an add-on rather than an update, meaning you’ll likely have to go to the PlayStation Store and manually start the download once it’s available in your region. Either way, you won’t be able to head online until the servers actually go live, but at least you’ll be ready for them when they do.
