Last of Us stays on top of the UK chart for a second week

The Last of Us (opens in new tab) is holding firm at the top of the UK sales charts for a second week running. It’s unusual for a single-format game to stay at the summit for multiple weeks, but then again, The Last of Us is a bit special as our review (opens in new tab) will tell you. For a second week, Animal Crossing: New Leaf (opens in new tab) retains the number two spot.

Tellingly, there are no new entries to the top 20 this week. We assume everyone in the UK is outside enjoying all the lovely weath… oh wait. Perhaps the lack of fresh games explains why Max Payne 3 (opens in new tab) is sat at number five, and Far Cry 3 (opens in new tab) is at seven. Here’s the full break-down.
