The BBC has released three images from the Doctor Who minisode that’ll air during the Children In Need fundraising jamboree on Friday (18 November).
It was filmed yesterday at BBC Television Centre and directed by Richard Senior (“Let’s Kill Hitler”) and in it the Doctor offers viewers the chance to win his tweed jacket (the one he wore in “The Doctor’s Wife”), bow-tie, boots and other items; the winning bidder will also receive a signed copy of the script (so there’ll be Neil Gaiman interest too!). To place bids visit the online auction .
“I’d say the tweed jacket or the bow-tie are the most iconic – although the boots are my personal favourite. I hope people donate generously for BBC Children In Need because it’s a wonderful cause – and we’ve got to beat last year’s total.”
The title of this year’s Doctor Who Christmas special will also be revealed during Children In Need .
