Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Trilogy leaks, but its not coming to current-gen

You may be able to get all three Call of Duty: Modern Warfare games in a single package soon, but you’ll still have to plug your old console back in to play them. The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Trilogy will hit Xbox 360 (opens in new tab) and PS3 (opens in new tab) on Tuesday, May 17 in the US, according to Best Buy, with 2007’s Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, 2009’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and 2011’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

If you want to play Modern Warfare with remastered graphics (opens in new tab) on current-gen consoles, you’ll still have to buy a special edition of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare (opens in new tab).

The Trilogy listing indicates that a lone piece of DLC will be included in the $29.99 bundle: Modern Warfare 2’s Stimulus Package map pack, which introduced the Bailout, Salvage, and Storm maps, and also featured the Crash and Overgrown maps from the original Modern Warfare.

The bundle comes with two cases according to the listing, which means it’s probably just three separate discs in one package (rather than a single launcher for all three games). It seems like Best Buy may have jumped the customizable gun on this one, so we’ll likely find out more soon.
