Evangeline Lilly talks Peter Jacksons The Hobbit

Evangeline Lilly flew back from filming The Hobbit in New Zealand to attend the US premiere of Real Steel and was happy to chat about her new fantasy role.

The Lost actress has now spent a month playing the Wood Elf Tauriel on The Hobbit set and says “working with Pete Jackson is super inspiring.”

She also praised the huge amount of support she gets in New Zealand.

“I have a dialogue coach, an emotion coach, a language coach, a stunts coach. So I should by rights be great in this film but if I fuck up it’s my fault,” Lilly told Access Hollywood.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey opens 14 December 2012, while the sequel The Hobbit: There and Back Again opens a year later on 13 December 2013.
