For the first time since the Marvel Cinematic Universe began, we’ll be getting three Marvel movies in one calendar year in 2017. One of those films is Thor: Ragnarok (opens in new tab), and filming on the threequel has gotten underway in Australia this week. To commemorate the occasion, director Taika Waititi took to Twitter to share a set photo.

The Russo Brothers were pretty active on social media while working on Captain America: Civil War, and I get the sense that that might carry over into Thor: Ragnarok. Time will tell…

Directed by Taika Waititi and starring Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Jaimie Alexander, Tessa Thompson, Jeff Goldblum, Cate Blanchett, Karl Urban, and Mark Ruffalo, Thor: Ragnarok will be released in UK cinemas on October 27, 2017 before opening in US theatres on November 3, 2017.
