Will there be a Guardians/Avengers showdown in Infinity War? “All things are possible,” teases Kevin Feige

It would be a superhero showdown to end all showdowns. Forget the airport scene in Captain America: Civil War, what we all really want to see is Iron Man go toe-to-toe with Star-Lord; Hulk and Drax duking it out, and Ant-Man and Baby Groot having a pint-sized punch-up. Could Avengers: Infinity War (opens in new tab) see the Guardians of the Galaxy face off against the Avengers? Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige certainly isn’t denying it…

When asked by Fandango (opens in new tab) whether a scrap between the Guardians and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes was possible, before dealing with Thanos, Kevin Feige laughed and coyly stated, “All things are possible.”

That’s not a no…

This comes after Zoe Saldana revealed what she expects to happen when the Guardians and the Avengers finally meet (opens in new tab). To whet the appetite further, Feige also said that “We’re doing things you’ve never seen before with films based on comics.”

If that includes a Robert Downey Jr./Chris Pratt dance-off then I’m okay with that.
