The post All Genshin Impact Conch locations in the 2.8 Archipelago appeared first on Game News.
]]>This may sound a little confusing, but the Phantasmal Conches (including both Imaging and Echoing Conches) are part of the Resonating Visions event, which takes place in the time-limited Golden Apple Archipelago region. There are 20 Conches in total, but only 14 of them are currently available. We’ll update this guide as soon as the remaining Conch locations are unlocked.

Let’s talk rewards first, shall we? If you find at least 14 Conch locations, you’ll be rewarded with a new outfit for Fischl. This reward can be collected in the Resonating Visions event menu. Don’t forget to claim the other goodies as well: Talent Level-Up Materials, Character Level-Up Materials, Weapon Enhancement Materials, a lot of Mora, and a total of 320 Primogems.
It takes 20 Phantasmal Conches to collect the full reward, but only 16 to claim both the Fischl outfit and Primogems.

Genshin Impact Conches look like… well, normal conches. However, they do give off a faint glow. It’s either blue (Echoing Conches) or purple/orange (Imaging Conches). Most importantly, a white Conch icon will pop up on the mini map as soon as you get close enough.
Every Conch has a unique name. If you want to check which Conches you’re missing, open the “Sojourner’s Song” and “The Photographer’s Words” tabs in the Resonating Visions event menu. Whether the Conch is an Echoing or an Imaging One, doesn’t really matter.

We’ll start with the Conch locations on Broken Isle, the upper left part of the Golden Apple Archipelago map. This map also includes the central island (location 5). All of these locations are at sea level, so no need for climbing.

Twinning Isle is situated in the upper right corner of the map. Here are the Conch locations:

To find Minacious Isle, go to the lower left corner of the map.

Pudding Isle is in the lower right corner of the Golden Apple Archipelago map.
That’s every Genshin Impact Imaging and Echoing Conch location for now. Stay tuned for the map update!

]]>These Fortnite geysers also feature in several of the weekly assignments, with the initial one being to launch into the air using three of them. More recently, a task was added that involved using a Fortnite Baller, a Fortnite zipline, and a geyser in a single match, so if you’re already in the area to ride an eruption then it makes sense to continue on to Rave Cave afterwards to take in the other items as well. We’ve got all of the Fortnite geyser locations around Reality Falls for you here, so you can easily tick off any quests that require them.

Fortnite Reality Seeds

Pick weeds near Fortnite Reality Seeds for another challenge.
Fortnite geysers are only found in the western section of the Fortnite map that’s full of giant, glowing mushrooms. It’s also where you can find Reality Falls and Greasy Grove. There are 12 geysers in this area, but you’ll find seven of them clustered together in Peril Pass, making that your best spot for completing this easy challenge, and the nearby Reality Tree has lots of loot for you to grab later. Use the above map and the information below to help you get to any of the Fortnite geyser locations:
From Reality Falls, you can head north to Rave Cave where you can find the Fortnite wind tunnel at The Screwballer. You’ll need to hop into a Baller vehicle and get inside the tunnel to cross off one of the Week 2 Fortnite quests. While you’re in the area, look out for some Fortnite Runaway Boulders, which can be dislodged using your Baller for another challenge.

]]>Fortnite Grapple Gloves

Swing your way around the island with Fortnite Grapple Gloves from one of these locations.
Although characters are no longer involved with distributing Fortnite quests, it still pays to know their locations as they’ll give you useful items for free when you meet, as well as selling services such as fighting alongside you as your personal bodyguard or forecasting the next storm circle to give you a head start over your opponents. If you want to benefit from their abilities, then you’ll need to know where to find these 29 different NPCs. We should also highlight that currently Fortnite Darth Vader isn’t on the official characters list, so follow our separate guide if you want to take them on in battle.
Fortnite characters accept payment in the form of Fortnite gold bars, which you can spend with them on weapons, items, and useful intel. Because the world of Fortnite is so large you might not stumble upon them by accident, so follow our guide to all of the Fortnite characters locations and you’ll be meeting up with these elusive NPCs in no time.

(opens in new tab)
There are currently 29 Fortnite characters to find around the island, and you can keep track of the ones you’ve met so far by visiting the Collections tab on the Quests screen. They all only spawn in one specific location each which makes them easier to find, so we’ve marked all of the Fortnite characters locations we’ve encountered on the map. Bear in mind that when characters are bunched up in an area (such as Shroom Chalet or The Joneses) then they may not all spawn in the same match, and if another player has already hired or eliminated them then that will remove the character from the location.
You’ll know when you’re close to one as you’ll see a speech bubble icon on your map, as well as on your screen above their head which you can see through walls. Interact with them and the first time you meet you’ll add them to your Collection, with a confirmation appearing on screen. This list shows where all of the Fortnite characters can be discovered:

When you find one of the Fortnite characters and interact with them, you’ll be given a variety of options to choose from, either taking on a task for them or buying something from them. Possible choices include:

If you’re looking for a particular service from one of the Fortnite characters, then these are the ones you should be seeking out.

]]>Destiny 2 Solar 3.0 builds

If you’re looking for new Destiny 2 Solar 3.0 builds for PvE, check out our guide
To get more Iron Banner daily challenges, you’ll automatically receive a new one at the daily reset for the first four days of Iron Banner – that’s Tuesday to Friday. Confusingly, they are marked as ‘Weekly’ challenges and don’t expire until the end of the Iron Banner event, so you can actually wait until the daily reset on Friday and you’ll have all four challenges ready to complete.
For the current Iron Banner event, you must complete an increasing number of Iron Banner matches, and progress carries over from each challenge, so you’ll need to complete 18 matches in total:
It’s also important to note that these Iron Banner daily challenges, their rewards, and the Forging Iron quest are character-based, not account-based. That means completing a challenge on one character will not complete it on your other characters, so you’ll have to do it again, but you’ll still get Pinnacle rewards and more for doing so. This is the same set of challenges as the previous Iron Banner event, but hopefully the objectives will change between future events.

Once you’ve completed a daily challenge, which you will need to do as part of the new Forging Iron introduction quest for Iron Banner, you’ll get your rewards: a Pinnacle Iron Banner loot drop, which will help you reach this season’s power cap of 1570, and a 100% boost to your Iron Banner Rank gains. Each challenge awards this boost and there will be four daily challenges per character, per Iron Banner event, so completing them all will massively increase your rank gains. Be sure to check in with Saladin at the Tower to collect rewards and Iron Banner Engrams as you rank up too – you can get the reprised Wizened Rebuke Fusion Rifle and Hero’s Burden Submachine Gun.

Increase your Iron Banner Rank gains further by using up to 5 pieces of Iron Banner gear – that’s any Iron Banner weapon or piece of armor – and using any Iron Banner emblem. The armor can also be the item itself or as an ornament. If you wear a piece of Iron Banner armor with a different Iron Banner ornament on top, this counts as two pieces of gear, so you won’t need to wear a full set of armor to get the maximum rank boost.
While Iron Banner returns in Season of the Haunted, the seasonal quest aboard the Derelict Leviathan ship has come to an end. Of course, you can still explore in patrols and participate in Nightmare Containment, but you should definitely keep an eye out for Destiny 2 Calus Bobbleheads, or plunder chests with Destiny 2 Opulent Keys.

]]>The post Forza Horizon 5 Car Mastery explained and how to get Skill Points appeared first on Game News.
]]>
Forza Horizon 5 Car Mastery is a perk system that’s used on every single car in the game and allows you to unlock permanent and temporary upgrades for individual cars. These upgrades usually include improvements to their ability to generate points for Skill Chain tricks, one-off instant rewards – XP, CR, #Forzathon Points, or Wheelspins – and XP boosts for a limited number of races. Every Car Mastery perk for every car is unlocked using Skill Points. The Car Mastery menu, which shows all the available perks for a car, is accessed by pausing Forza Horizon 5, navigating to the ‘Cars’ tab, and then selecting the ‘Car Mastery’ page.

Forza Horizon 5 Drift Zones

Find a car that with improved drift tricks and take it to one of the Forza Horizon 5 Drift Zones
Each car on the Forza Horizon 5 car list has a fixed set of perks that are generally suited to the kind of tricks you’ll be performing. For example, the Warthog has perks that increase the score you gain from performing Wreckage, Wrecking Ball, or Air tricks and can temporarily gain an extra 25% XP for the next 10 Cross Country races. Meanwhile, a fast supercar like the Lamborghini Huracán has mastery perks associated with with Drafting, Passing, and Speed tricks since it’s good for fast road races in Forza Horizon 5. A few cars have Car Mastery Car perks that instantly unlock a completely different car instead of granting some other benefit. For example, you can unlock a 1999 Lamborghini Diablo GTR from the 1997 Lamborghini Diablo SV’s Car Mastery.

Each car you own has its own Car Mastery perks, but any Skill Points you earn can be spent on perks for any car, not just the one you’re currently driving. The perks on the Car Mastery page are arranged in a grid pattern but are unlocked a bit like a traditional skill tree, in that unlocking a perk causes surrounding perks that are more expensive to become available for purchase too. The perks at the bottom of the mastery grid are usually the cheapest at one Skill Point, but they increase to three, then five, and then 10 Skill Points towards the top. Every car has an ‘extra life’ perk that causes Skill Chains to break on the second collision rather than the first which costs 25 Skill Points.

To gain Skill Points, you need to perform Skill Chains which are scores that build up as you perform tricks while driving, whether that’s in a race or in free roam. Your Skill Chain score is visible at the top of your screen. You can get points for destroying objects, getting air by going over a hill or ramp, overtaking, near-misses, driving at high speed, drifting, slipstreaming another car ahead of you, doing J-turns, and more. Performing any trick increases the score and multiplier, but it seems like performing strings of unique tricks gets your score and multiplier up faster. Your Skill Chain multiplier caps out at 5x your current score, but this doubles to 10x during a Skill Song.

A good strategy for getting your combo up is to drive your fastest car up and down the central highway that runs across Mexico. These are some of the Forza Horizon 5 best cars you can use for high-speed driving. As you drive, you’ll get Speed and Near-Miss tricks, but once you reach the end and the road narrows, turn as hard as you can and smash into stuff to get Drift, One-Eighty, and Wreckage Tricks. Accelerate back up to top speed as quickly as possible back the way you came to keep your Skill Chain going with more Speed tricks.

If you end your chain by not performing a trick for a few seconds, you’ll be awarded your total score and any Skill Points you earned as a result – a higher score means more Skill Points. Crashing your car will cause the chain to break and you’ll lose all your points. Listen out for Skill Songs after you’ve bought the Casa Bella house as your final scores for any Skill Chains you perform during the song will get doubled.
You should spend your Skill Points as soon as you get them so that you’re always unlocking new perks. This will improve your car’s ability to perform Skill Chains and earn Skill Points as you go and will get you lots of nice and useful rewards along the way. Performing Skill Chains and spending Skill Points will also grant you XP which contributes towards your player level. Once you’ve levelled up a fair bit, for any new cars you get, you could try saving your Skill Points up to unlock the extra life perk which will make performing Skill Chains much more forgiving, helping you to power through the rest of the perks later.
Hopefully those were some useful tips on what Car Mastery is and how you can spend your skill points, but we’ve got more Forza Horizon 5 tips here too.

MH Rise Purecrystal

Find Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak Purecrystal materials with out guide here!
The Twisted Stiffbone has a lot of crafting uses, hence the demand for finding them. Its recipes don’t require a lot of them, but there are a lot of recipes that need at least one, so sooner or later players find themselves running into this particular wall.
Unlike many other resources that came out in the DLC, such as the Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak Prized Pelts, the Stiffbone also is used to create a wide range of items. Some materials are limited purely to forging weapons, armor or decorations, but the Twisted Stiffbone is used to some degree in all three. We’ll cover everything you can make with them below, broken into categories.
The main two standouts here are that the entire Bone X set is dependent on having nine separate Twisted Stiffbones, and the Protection Jewel is incredibly valuable, as equipping one will offer two separate levels of the Divine Blessing skill – aka, a permanent 30% protection buff! Slot that into any set to make it a viable contender for the Monster Hunter Rise best armor in your arsenal.
Keep in mind that there’s plenty more to be accessed from MH Rise Sunbreak beyond that, and even more hidden resources, such as the Transcendent Rhino in Monster Hunter Rise, which can be used to complete quests and to earn Kamura Points.

Fortnite grapple gloves

If you want to get around fast, pick up some Fortnite Grapple Gloves and drop in on the enemy.
The best place to get yourself a Ripsaw Launcher is at the Chop Shop in the frozen northwest area of the Fortnite map. It’s a large red workshop building roughly northeast of Logjam Lotus. Head inside and you’ll find a couple of Ripsaw Launchers lying on the ground. From the ground floor of the main workshop, you can also reach a smaller, gray garage building which has a wall full of extra Ripsaw Launchers.
You also have a small chance of finding a Ripsaw Launcher in the world as they can appear on the ground, in chests, and in supply drops. So you might not have to venture to the Chop Shop to get them, although that is the best option if you absolutely need one for something specific. Do note that the Ripsaw Launcher is not available in any competitive playlists! Wherever you spot one, grab it and get slicing.

The Ripsaw Launcher fires saw blades that will stick into any destructible object and deal constant damage until they break, meaning it can absolutely shred through structures – both player-made and those already on the map. You also need one to complete two weekly Fortnite quests. The first requires you to chop down Fortnite Timber Pines, and the other tasks you with finding giant mushrooms in Fortnite and slicing those up too.
However, this destructive power is balanced by the launcher’s limited ammo capacity as it comes with just 12 sawblades and can hold three at once. To increase the range and velocity of each sawblade, you’ll need to hold down the fire button to rev up the launcher. Revving it up also makes it a Fortnite melee weapon, so you can slice your foes and any builds up close. Overall, it’s not exactly easy to use or something you should whip out mid-shootout, but it might be something to hold onto if you’ve got the inventory space, especially in battle royale modes with building enabled.

]]>The post All the new monsters in Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak appeared first on Game News.
]]>It goes without saying, but the following includes spoilers for all the encounters in Sunbreak.
There are seventeen new monsters in MH Rise Sunbreak, listed below in the approximate order you’ll likely encounter them:
MH Rise Transcendent Rhino

Looking for smaller monsters? Find the Monster Hunter Rise Transcendent Rhino here!
Click on any of the monsters or scroll down to find out more, but even at a glance players should be able to recognise some familiar names. Bishaten, Somnacanth, Almudron, Rakna-Kadaki, Rajang and MH: Rise mascot Magnamalo all have tougher (or at least different) subspecies returning to the series, while older patrons of the Monster Hunter series will recognise some of the other names floating around, like Hermitaur and Ceanataur bouncing back from Monster Hunter 2.
Beyond that, there’s four entirely new monsters in that list: Garangolm, Lunagaron, Malzeno and Gaismagorm, who have never been seen in the Monster Hunter series until now and are debuting in Sunbreak. The first three are collectively referred to as the “Three Lords”, effectively the main bosses that mark plot points across the DLC.
Of course, there’s plenty of other changes Sunbreak has made, such as adding new materials, mini monsters, weapons and more, usually based acquiring new crafting resources like the Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak Prized Pelts. It’s a pretty bulky DLC pack as a whole, a secondary campaign that allows players to abuse animals in a whole new section of the world (because while the mechanics and story of Monster Hunter might’ve been updated, the ethics never will be).

A giant monstrous crab that’s the first beast you’ll encounter in Sunbreak, this beast has a slight fire vulnerability, and uses its bulky armor and summoned minions to harass the player while throwing out Water attacks. Keep your eyes on the claws, and hack at the face when it’s left unprotected. Honestly, that’s good advice in any fight.

A variant of the impish ape Bishaten, this one deals in fiery exploding fruit rather than the poisonous kind. Water and Thunder will hurt it more than anything else, and slashing weapons on the head and tail will take it apart effectively. Armor against flame and try and get close enough to prevent it from throwing bombs at you.

The first of the Three Lords, Garangolm is a giant, bulky plant monster that attacks with both Fire and Water. It doesn’t really have much in terms of weakness beyond a slight vulnerability to Thunder and Slashing (though barely), and will primarily work with melee attacks infused with elemental damage. Stay agile and try to keep behind it when possible.

Whereas the Hermitaur was a crab, the Ceanataur is a lobster (and not a centaur like you would’ve expected). Thunder, Fire and Blast are probably your best bets to break through its defences, and breaking the shell with repeated damage leaves it vulnerable to follow-up attacks. When it comes to defence, you’ll need to gear up against water, unsurprisingly. Choose early on whether you’re prioritising the shell or head before working on breaking that part of it.

An ethereal, icy variant of the existing Somnacanth, cracking the frost will require obvious solutions – Fire and Blunt attacks, both of which it’s weak to. It’s a fast mover, slippery and evasive, so you’ll need to play defensively and guard against its Ice attacks until it leaves its guard open for retaliation.

Lunagaron is the second of the Three Lords, another Ice-based foe who looks like a big werewolf. Again, Fire will take it apart, as well as Thunder to a certain extent, and it probably wouldn’t hurt to use a Blunt weapon if you’ve got a good one lying around. Protect yourself against Ice and Iceblight, and be wary – Lunagaron loves to coat itself in frost to empower its attacks. Breaking the ice will stun it, but enrage it afterwards, similar to Boss Harag. Beyond that it’s primarily a melee fighter, so back up on your wirebugs if you need a respite.

A giant electrical Wyvern, Astalos is flighty foe best hampered with Slashing and Ice damage, though its speed means that it’s also viable to use Ammo weapons – they’re less powerful, but easier to land hits. Astalos specialises in ranged Thunder attacks and hit-and-run tactics, visibly charging up electricity when it’s about to go berserk, though attacking those charged body parts can cancel these attacks (if you do enough damage).

Another Wyvern, this one covered in dusty gold scales, Seregios is weak to Blunt and Thunder damage, though won’t do well against Ice either if you’ve got it. A little more defensive and bulky than Astalos, Seregios’ main danger is that it can inflict bleeding with most of its attacks, a new status effect that’s deadly if you’re not prepared. Crouching still for a while or eating a Well-Done Steak will both cure bleed, though pick your moment – Seregios will try and hassle you out of such an approach.

The strange snake/otter Almudron is back, complete with bulbous tail, and now a whole load of Fire attacks, so guard yourself accordingly. Magma Almudron’s weakness is, of course, the tail bulb, and hitting it with Water/Slashing damage will do a lot to hurt the big beast. Almudrons of any kind are slippery opponents, staying out of reach while doing AOE attacks, so try to keep up with it and land hits where you can, then back up to avoid the inevitable fiery blast.

A status-effect loving Wyvern, the Espinas deals Fire damage, as well as Poison, because Capcom wants you to be unhappy. While Fire damage is only dealt through the ranged attacks, pretty much everything Espinas does is laced with poison, including the fireballs, so have Herbal medicines on hand, and use Ice damage to heavily compromise it.

A massive, unclassified beast, Gore Magala is an insect/dragon thing that suffers when hit by Fire and Thunder, and can be stunned by bashing the feelers on its head. It inflicts the new Frenzy status effect with its attacks – which stops passive health regeneration, and increases damage taken. More concerningly, the only way to cure Frenzy is to attack Gore Magala until it wears off, as dealing damage effectively burns up the status effect. Hanging back to wait or eating medicines won’t help you here.

If you somehow didn’t think the existing Rakna-Kadaki was fiery enough, this spider queen is even more inflammatory. Blunt and Water damage will do a lot to hurt it (as well as Ice, to some extent), but otherwise the best option to make use of Rakna-Kadaki’s long wind-ups. Her attacks tend to be brutal and long-lasting, hurting everything around her, but take a moment to set up. Use these windows to leap in, do some damage, then wirebug away before she can squash you.

The third of the Three Lords, Malzeno is a big Elder Dragon who sets up the new Qurio “Afflicted” monsters explained further below. It uses wide-spread AOE attacks, making speed essential, and inflicts a new status called Bloodblight, which drains the recoverable red section of your healthbar and reduces health recovery as a whole, but does grant the target some lifesteal on their attacks. It’s actually incurable and will be an issue for the whole fight until Malzeno is defeated, so you’ll need to play aggressively to survive. But be warned – if the big dragon drains enough health from you this way, it’ll get a powerup that makes it more dangerous. For the best chance, know that it’s both weak to Dragon damage and deals Dragon damage itself, and has a habit of teleporting behind you to set up for fast strikes. Play forcefully and don’t let up, riding it into the lava when the opportunity presents itself.

Another Elder Dragon that’s actually a more deadly version of Gore Magala, a lot of the same patterns will apply here. You want to use Fire, Dragon and Slashing damage, and maybe Poison if you have it, targeting the upper body while watching out for its sudden strikes and flying attacks. Fast weapons will do well, and watch out for that Frenzy Virus we mentioned above. Its attacks have no element, so just go for the most generally protective armor you have.

The final boss of the main Sunbreak campaign, Gaismagorm is another Elder Dragon that’s suffused with Qurio, and is a little more of a fixed fight than the other monsters. Follow the NPC’s advice when it comes up, and stay behind its front arms for the best chance. Dragon attacks will devastate Gaismagorm’s defences, but like Shagaru Magala, its own lack of elemental power means you won’t really have any chance to resist it. Target the accumulations of Qurio on its body to deal huge damage and compromise its ability to attack.

Yeah, that bloody bull-chimp is back again. Furious Rajang is a version of the original that never leaves its empowered gold-fur state, and consequently is about as lethal as anything can be. It deals primarily Thunder damage, and is weak to Ice (and Water, a little) if you have it. Be prepared for an incredibly aggressive enemy, and one that can get even worse when it enters a rage state (which you can cancel out by hitting it in the head enough times).

The box-cover brute of MH Rise returns in a new, superior form for Sunbreak’s endgame, so get Water attacks ready to douse it. Scorned Magnamalo uses the species’ unique Hellfire status to make players blow up if they don’t wiredash instantly, and uses sweeping strikes and beams of energy to launch attacks over a wide area. Your wirebugs will be essential in this fight – have them ready to deploy in a moment’s notice.
Afflicted monsters are a new variation of monster that can appear, and form a lot of MH Rise Sunbreak’s endgame content. Introduced after killing Gaismagorm, Afflicted Monsters are infested with the parasitic Qurio moths, effectively modifying the standard encounter and making them harder. Here’s the actual changes made to afflicted monsters:
It’s a risk/reward venture – when going after an afflicted monster, be prepared for something nastier than normal, but if you can pull it off, you’ll get some phenomenal rewards. Those who can conquer the Afflicted Monsters can handle anything Sunbreak has to throw at them.

]]>Fortnite creative codes are a huge part of Fortnite alongside Battle Royale and Save The World. You can dive into an almost limitless selection of community-created maps and modes that play with the basic mechanics and sandbox of Fortnite in different ways. There are variations on the normal Battle Royale mode, deathmatches, obstacles courses, and other PvE modes, all created by other players.

To play one of these creative code games, navigate to the ‘Island Code’ tab of the mode selection screen and then enter the 12-digit number code and you should be taken to the page for the creative code map. From there, you can play, favorite, and support the creator. This month, there are some great PvP modes available, and a few are included here, but if you can also find some less competitive modes if you just want to have a more relaxing time.

Fortnite Indiana Jones

Complete the new Fortnite Indiana Jones quests too
If you’re looking to cool off and enjoy some minigames on the beach, Sundek should be able to help you out. This resort paradise has archery, quad bike races, surfing races, parkour, and even a rollercoaster. If you can get a few friends together, this’ll be a good mode to hop into and compete in a minigame tournament.

If you’re looking for something a bit more serious compared to Sundek, you’ll want to try Seaside Island. This vast map features all kinds of minigames, including a zombie invasion mode on the beach. It also incorporates more life simulator elements and allows you to go fishing, harvest tomatoes, water plants, and chop trees.

If you’re into improving your movement tech in Fortnite, this parkour mode that focus on precise mantling and speed might help you out. Taking place in some destroyed subway tunnels, you’ll need to sprint, slide, and leap over tracks and broken trains to reach the end. Compete with other players to set the best lap time.

With global warming heating up the ice caps, sea levels are rising and flooding parts of the world! That’s the (slightly too real) premise of H2O Royale – a fast-paced 24-player battle royale that takes place on an urban map that is slowly being flooded as the match goes on. As the water rises, you’ll be forced out of buildings and onto the open water or the rooftops. Last person standing takes the W.

This well-made racetrack features all sorts of obstacles, giving it a chaotic kart racer vibe that’s topped off with a great driving soundtrack. Battle your way to first place and finish two laps to win and leave your rival drivers in the dust.

]]>It’s not clear at time of writing yet what the difference is between the Blue and White outcrops when it comes to the drop rates for Awegite (both are marked on the map above), but both can drop Awegite, similar to the Monster Hunter Rise Machalite Ore. We’ve had more luck getting it to spawn from blue drops over white ones, but we can’t say if that’s coincidental or not. Either way, you might as well shear through them all, just to be safe.
Awegite also has a slim chance of being dropped by the rare Rock-Tail Lizards when found in Master Rank quests, but considering the extreme rarity of Rock-Tail Lizards and their unpredictable spawning patterns, there’s no way to use this to your advantage when farming Awegite. Kill the Lizards if you see them, but if you need to get Awegite, using the outcrops is a far more reliable process.

Awegite is used for a lot of Sunbreak’s armor components, in particular the Kamura Legacy set and the associated weapons, but even if you’re not pursuing any gear in which Awegite is a component, it might be worth doing if only as an alternative to the Monster Hunter Rise Zenny farm, as Awegite is worth 1200 when sold and can be a decent way to quickly make money without any real danger.
