]]>In an interview with Den of Geek (opens in new tab), Dorn offered an update on the status of his proposed spin-off, which he calls The Worf Chronicles: “The idea that we have is a great idea, so what we’d like to do is use it to start a new franchise. I think if we populate [the series] with Star Trek franchise actors, I think that’s a good place to start. We’d be able to promote it through the conventions we already do, and the great thing about it would be that we’d own it. We’d be free to do what we wanted to do.”

This is no doubt encouraging news for fans of the Klingon commander; in addition to expanding the Star Trek universe, a Worf-centred TV series would also give Dorn the opportunity to flesh out a character he clearly loves.
