]]>Still here? Okay. Here’s your first look at Dead Rising 4 in action:
As for ReCore, Gwyn claims that the game will come to North America on Sept. 13, 2016, Japan on Sept. 15, 2016, and Europe on Sept. 16, 2015. No sweet “ripping zombies in half” footage from that game, but Gwyn did share an image of the game’s heroine attaching some sort of grappling tether onto… something.

Anyone else feeling like a kid that peeked at their presents early?

]]>Even after introducing itself at E3 by showing off that it was being developed by Keiji Inafune, creator of Mega Man, and Armature Studio – i.e. the people who made Metroid Prime and then split from Retro Games – the Xbox One exclusive has even more high-profile connections to share.
Revealed by the New York Times (opens in new tab) (and elaborated on by Destructoid (opens in new tab)), ReCore’s being penned by Joseph Staten who, up until 2013, was a key member of the Bungie writing team. Writer of if not the best, then certainly the most human Halo game, ODST, and a lead writer on Destiny (not to mention directing Halo’s cinematics and managing its extended universe tie-ins), he’s got pedigree.
Hopefully all of that experience will lead to something special when the game’s released – it’s planned for a Spring launch this year.
