Lego DC Batman Cowl | £54.99 £45.95 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
Save £10 – As is only right, this display piece comes in black… and sometimes very, very dark grey. That’s a good price overall for the helmet, and even though it’s not the cheapest we’ve seen the kit go for, it’s still pretty good on the whole.

Lego deals – tips and tricks

LEGO deals

We see impressive reductions all year ’round

The trick is judging whether the offer is worth your time or not. For that, we keep an eye on price-matching sites to determine a product’s average cost and whether it’s been cheaper in the past (and how often it’s dropped in price). That way we can identify and bring you the very best discounts and Lego sales.

Want to try it out yourself? We use sites like CamelCamelCamel (opens in new tab), and the process is easy. Simply paste a Lego deal’s URL into the search bar to find out the product’s biggest discount, average cost, and highest price over a set period of time.

A new Lego Obi-Wan Kenobi set has been revealed, and it allows you to set up Ben’s rematch with a mega-pissed Darth Vader. Who then (SPOILERS) proceeds to rake him over the literal coals. Eh, you win some, you lose some.

Available to pre-order now for $49.99 from the official Lego store (opens in new tab) (or £44.99 (opens in new tab) if you’re based in the UK), this Lego Obi-Wan Kenobi set features the Jedi as he appears in his new show, Darth Vader himself, unexpected ally Tala Durith, and episode 3’s MVP NED-B. They come with a mini-diorama based on the mining planet Ben’s hiding out on, including the rocks Vader hurls across the ground and sets on fire.

We should clarify that you can’t set these particular bricks alight but, somewhat disturbingly, you can levitate poor old Ben in a Force choke with see-through blocks that raise him off the ground (which isn’t something we’d expected to say regarding Star Wars gifts, but there you go).

This kit will join the other Lego Star Wars sets on August 1, 2022.

Lego Obi-Wan Kenobi vs. Darth Vader | $49.99 at Lego (opens in new tab)
Launches August 1 – This kit recreates one of the biggest moments from the show so far – Ben’s faceoff with Anakin while he tries to get Leia to safety. It has 408 pieces in total.

UK price: £44.99 at Lego (opens in new tab)

Revealed through Obi-Wan Wednesdays (opens in new tab) on the Star Wars website, it was just one part of the day’s surprises. We’re also getting some new Retro Collection Star Wars action figures from Hasbro featuring the Grand Inquisitor and NED-B, not to mention a plush LOLA droid. While the latter isn’t quite as cute as the adorable animatronic LOLA revealed back in May, it’s still very sweet (and probably a lot cheaper, to be honest).

Not caught up on Obi-Wan just yet? You can check out our guide on how to watch Obi-Wan Kenobi for less here, see the best Disney Plus sign-up offers, or check in on the deal-finder below.

So it turns out that one of the latest Star Wars Lego sets is trash – quite literally. Alongside a return to Luke’s training on Dagobah and the iconic Death Star trench run, a Trash Compactor kit has just been revealed. All three will join the best Lego sets on April 26, 2022.

These Star Wars Lego sets are something of a departure for the company; although you can still set them up as you see fit, they’re dioramas on scenic display bases that feature quotes from the movie in question. As an example, the Dagobah kit features Yoda’s famous “do or do not. There is no try” line. So far as we can tell, that’s a first amongst Lego Star Wars sets.

While the Death Star Trench Run Diorama (available for $59.99 from Lego (opens in new tab) and what we assume will be the same price from Amazon (opens in new tab), once it’s up for purchase) is awesome, the standout might just be the Death Star Trash Compactor Diorama. You can pre-order it for $89.99 from the official Lego Store (opens in new tab), and it features a moving wall to squeeze in the characters. There’s even a miniature version of R2-D2 and C-3PO on the other side, recreating the moment where they try to shut the compactor down.

The Dagobah Jedi Training Diorama (which you can pick up for $79.99 via Lego’s site (opens in new tab) and soon from Amazon (opens in new tab)) also has plenty of cool-factor. It depicts Yoda’s hut – that he’s able to actually go inside – amongst the swampy forest, Luke’s submerged X-Wing, and the young Skywalker himself as he tries to lift his starfighter free with the Force. It’s a clever piece that doesn’t waste an inch of space.

You’ll find a more detailed breakdown of each Star Wars Lego set below. We’ve included the latest Lego deals further down the page as well if you’re in the market for something new.

Lego Death Star Trench Run Diorama | $59.99 at Lego (opens in new tab) / Amazon (opens in new tab)
Ships April 26 – The cheapest of the new diorama kits is based on Luke’s final gambit in A New Hope. Once you’ve constructed the complex machinations and turrets of the battle station itself, you can place Luke’s X-Wing, Darth Vader’s personal craft, and two TIE Fighters into the action with clear plastic stands. Two of these can be blasting lasers at Luke as well, adding to the drama of the scene. All told, this set has 665 pieces.

The trailing leaves and clear green bricks for water give it a real sense of place, and it manages to cram a lot of detail into a very small space.

Death Star Trash Compactor Diorama | $89.99 at Lego (opens in new tab)
Ships April 26 – This is the most expensive of the new diorama kits, but it’s also potentially the coolest. Using its 802 pieces, it depicts the original movie’s trash-related escapades as Luke, Leia, Han, and Chewbacca become in danger of being squashed by the Death Star’s waste-disposal system. The walls even move in or out, which is fun.

New additions to the Lego Star Wars helmet collection have just been unveiled, and they’re due to arrive in stores this March 1. Pre-orders are available on the official Lego Store now.

Three new Lego Star Wars helmet kits make up this wave, and it includes entries from the Disney Plus shows as well as the original trilogy. You can pick up Luke Skywalker’s X-Wing pilot headgear (opens in new tab), the helmet of the Mandalorian himself (opens in new tab), Din Djarin, or the head of a droid Dark Trooper (opens in new tab). Each one costs $59.99 in the USA and £54.99 in the UK.

Luke’s pilot gear features a brick microphone to go with an orange visor and nameplate. Meanwhile, Mando’s shiny chrome look has been recreated here with metallic Lego bricks to simulate its Beskar construction. Finally, translucent red and white parts help the Dark Trooper’s eyes glow. They all stand at around seven inches tall.

Because previous Lego Star Wars helmets were good enough to be in the running for many best Lego sets guides, these should impress in person; they’re detailed builds that make good display pieces. As you can probably see from the gallery above, they also capture the look of their inspiration well despite being made up of bricks.

In short, these are good options if you’re looking for a fine addition to your collection. They’d probably make good Star Wars gifts for your loved ones, too.

As was foretold in the days of yore (or, you know, the fact that all Marvel blockbusters get accompanying Lego), five new Lego sets for Avengers: Endgame (opens in new tab) have been revealed. Available now and with prices ranging from $20/£20 to $100/£85, they hint at some intriguing storylines to come. Although you should always take kit scenarios with a pinch of salt, they’ve been known to unveil plot points in the past. So: possible spoilers inbound.

Still here? Cool. While a few of these sets are generic fight sequences (Cap riding a tricked-out motorcycle into battle, for instance), there’s also a kit that sees Thanos and his minions attack the Avengers compound in upstate New York. It’s not an isolated incident, either; this seems to be a running theme. Based on contents and cover art, at least three of the five kits feature Outriders (those four-armed monsters from Infinity War) invading what would appear to be Avengers HQ. As an aside, Thanos is also seen wielding a hammer in the ‘Marvel Avengers Compound Battle’ kit. This reinforces our suspicion that his Infinity Gauntlet is on the fritz (I mean, we’ve all been there).

Avengers Endgame Lego sets might reveal spoilers

Is this a scene from the movie, then? Maybe. On the one hand, it could be a coincidence because the Avengers compound features so heavily in every trailer. On the other, the naming and scenario of ‘Avengers Compound Battle’ is suspiciously specific. What’s more, there’s a shot from the second trailer of the team looking in shock at the sky outside. Although this is likely to be Tony and Nebula arriving back on Earth, it could just as easily be the start of an assault by Thanos. But why would he go there? Your guess is as good as ours. Perhaps the Mad Titan has cottoned on to the Avengers’ plan? Maybe he wants their directions to that wicked shawarma shop? Either way, these sets are pretty awesome. They also imply that we may get a Hulkbuster version of the War Machine armor, and that’d be dope.

You can see each Lego kit and their official descriptions below. And for more theories about the MCU finale, check out the best Avengers: Endgame theories (opens in new tab) explained, analysed, and explored.
