]]>We knew previously that mother Leveilleur would be available as a custom delivery character back when patch 6.1 and its following roadmap for Final Fantasy 14 were unveiled earlier this year. Now though, Ameliance will be available via patch 6.15 for Final Fantasy 14 players later this week on June 7, and some of said players are a little too pleased by the news.

“In two days we’re gonna be custom delivering a couple more Leveilleurs,” one Twitter user commented on the news, intimating that they will, in fact, be having carnal relations with Ameliance Leveilleur. “I wish all Forchenault Leveilleur a very I’m stealing your wife,” wrote another similarly deranged Twitter user. Others have been even more creative, as you can see just below, although no less rabid.

This very unsettling situation is probably about to get a whole lot worse in little over 24 hours from now, when Final Fantasy 14 patch 6.15 launches on June 7. Ameliance has been nothing short of absolutely lovely to the Warrior of Light throughout Endwalker, so we’re not quite sure why she’s about to be subjected to wearing 2B’s outfit and maid costumes for the foreseeable future.
These players will probably be having just as good a time as Final Fantasy 14 director Naoki Yoshida at an Eorzea D&D session, where the veteran developer recently got roped into playing a session for nigh on eight hours.

]]>The session was hosted by NGC, a Japanese streaming studio that typically plays games like Elden Ring on Twitch. On May 30, NGC hosted a Final Fantasy 14 tabletop RPG for four players, including Yoshi-P and Alphinaud voice actor Shinnosuke Tachibana. The stream (opens in new tab) is all in Japanese and eight hours long, but thankfully a fan who goes by Kageyama Satsuki translated some of the highlights on Twitter (opens in new tab).
Yoshi-P took the role of Cellica Flame, who Satsuki describes as a “gil-obsessed lady lalafell black mage adventurer.” The adventure began as the group escorted a chocobo carriage toward Ul’dah. A young adventurer chased by marmots and an adamantoise begged them for help, to which Yoshi-P’s character responded “How much gil you got?”
It’s no surprise to see Yoshida in the role of black mage – it’s his favorite class, after all – but this greedy streak is a new one.
Tachibana’s character, an Au Ra warrior named Hirvana Torachivana, might be an even more familiar stereotype to tabletop RPG fans – he kept suggesting “Just kill em all.” Yes, that’s the voice of Alphinaud becoming a murderhobo in another vision of Eorzea.
“The players were so happy and eager to learn more of the little storyline,” Satsuki explained at the end of the stream, “and just all excitedly talking about the game, despite it being 3:30am. A feeling I’m sure many TTRPG players find familiar. How wonderful!”
Yoshida has teased that Final Fantasy 14 may end up getting jobs that are brand new to the franchise.

]]>Square Enix’s mega-popular MMO beat out some incredibly tough competition this year to take the award. It saw off the likes of Capcom’s excellent Monster Hunter Rise, the game that just keeps on giving years later in No Man’s Sky, and Bungie’s ongoing foray into new realms of Destiny 2.

Final Fantasy 14 has only gone from strength to strength over the past two years, in the aftermath of the astounding Shadowbringers expansion in 2019. The servers at times have barely been able to cope with the influx of players, and that’s without a significant new expansion having launched in over two years.
Square-Enix’s massive MMO is barreling towards the Endwalker expansion, which launches later this year in December. Set to bring to a close a storyline that’s been running now for well over a decade, the stakes couldn’t be higher for the heroic Scions and the player base at large, as all eyes are on Endwalker to provide a show-stopping conclusion to its brilliant saga.
“Final Fantasy 14’s climactic expansion feels like it’s building towards something special,” we wrote after going hands-on with Endwalker last month. “The expansion’s brand new content feels brilliantly put together, as though the Reaper and Sage will effortlessly meld into existence alongside the existing Jobs, and meaningful new changes like the Trust system upgrades and downscaled damage attributes feel primed to set up Final Fantasy 14 for even more success in the years to come.”

]]>If you’ve been out of the loop, Final Fantasy 14 is the series’ huge MMO, where players can create their own Warrior of Light as they fight to become the hero of Eorzea.
The upcoming Endwalker expansion will take us to the Moon, and conclude the Hydaelyn and Zodiark Storyline that initially started over a decade ago. It will also add new cities like Old Sharlayan and Radz-at-Han, new jobs in Sage and Reaper, and other fresh content like new dungeons.
In order to enter the sweepstake, all you need to do is answer the question below, and let us know where you live. This will let us know whether you need one of our 25 North America or one of the 25 European Final Fantasy 14 Complete Edition codes that we have up for grabs.
As a reminder these are Final Fantasy 14 Complete Edition Windows codes, which means that they can only be redeemed on PC via the FF14 client, rather than Steam. We have 25 UK codes and another 25 US keys to give away (excluding residents of Rhode Island, Guam, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, U.S. military installations in foreign countries, or any other U.S. territory where prohibited or restricted by law), so please make sure to tell us your location when you enter the sweepstakes.
1) Please click the following link in order to download the Final Fantasy XIV game client (opens in new tab)
2) Double click the file and select the appropriate region and language settings.Please note that this will also set the in-game language, but you can change this setting at any time within the FINAL FANTASY XIV launcher program.
3) Follow the on-screen instructions to install the FINAL FANTASY XIV launcher onto your hard drive.
4) After you have successfully installed the launcher, run the program to check for any updates and proceed to register FINAL FANTASY XIV.
5) Follow the onscreen instructions and carefully read through and accept the FINAL FANTASY XIV Software License Agreement, Square Enix Account Agreement, and the FINAL FANTASY XIV User Agreement.

]]>If you didn’t know already, Final Fantasy 14 seasonal events are special occasions that occur every year at a particular time and the Make it Rain campaign will see adventurers can earn unique and exclusive rewards from completing a series of quests.
This event, which hasn’t been seen since 2017, will offer a 50 per cent increase to MGP (Manderville Gold Saucer Points) rewards during the campaign, and you will be able to purchase discounted items from housing furnishings, fashion accessories, and a range of other in-game items from previous events that you may have missed.
Some of the hardest to obtain mounts in Final Fantasy 14 can be exchanged for MGP, such as the Archon Throne worth 750k MGP and the Sabotender Emperador which is worth 2 million MGP. So if you’ve been trying to save up that MGP, now might be the best time to earn a little more.

The event will last from October 21 to November 20. A free login campaign (opens in new tab) has also just been announced, where you can enjoy up to 96 hours of free game time until November 23, so there’s plenty of time to earn that sweet MGP.

This year Square Enix have brought a handful of events to Final Fantasy 14, such as The Rising yearly anniversary celebration, the Moonfire Faire summer event and the Yo-kai Watch: Gather One, Gather All collaboration, but it’s unclear whether or not the Halloween-themed All Saints’ Wake wake will make a return as well.
Earlier this year, there were a number of delays to the Reflections in Crystal patch 5.3 due to the coronavirus, so plans were changed to make room for development. Even so, Final Fantasy 14’s Reflections in Crystal patch, which saw an end to the main story of the Shadowbringers expansion, was a massive success. Patch 5.3’s release in August saw the games’ free trial include all of the base game as well as the Heavensward expansion, meaning hundreds of hours of free content.
Final Fantasy 14 has also recently gotten a new update with Patch 5.35 with and Patch 5.4 expected to arrive in December.
