Batman vs Superman (opens in new tab). Daredevil vs The Punisher. Captain America (opens in new tab) vs Iron Man. Everywhere you look, heroes seem to be fighting each other a lot these days. Thankfully, there is one upcoming superhero crossover which will have heroes doing exactly what good heroes should do – teaming up and taking down bad guys.
Later this month, Grant Gustin’s Barry Allen from CW’s The Flash will travel to an alternate universe and partner up with Melissa Benoist’s Supergirl. The official synopsis (via Entertainment Weekly (opens in new tab)) for the episode explains that Barry will be helping Kara “battle Siobhan (Italia Ricci), aka Silver Banshee, and Livewire (Brit Morgan) in exchange for her help in finding a way to return him home.” The article also confirms that Flash will race Supergirl at some point in the episode, and while producer Andrew Kreisberg didn’t reveal the victor he revealed that “It’s close”. For my money, I don’t see Barry losing that race…
The Flash/Supergirl crossover episode ‘World’s Finest’ will air in the US on CBS on March 28, 2016.
